New Week New Grace
New Week. New Grace.
A new week is a new gift from God and He is already at work in everything this week holds.
Whatever last week looked like, it is behind you now. The hard conversations, the missed opportunities, the days that did not go the way you planned. God is not holding any of it over you. He woke you up this morning with a clean slate and a brand new set of mercies and that alone is reason enough to begin again.
Monday does not have to feel like a weight. It can feel like an open door. A fresh page. An invitation to step into something new with God walking right beside you in it.
"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23 · NKJVScripture quoted from the New King James Version (NKJV).
New every morning. Not every year at New Year. Not every season when you finally feel ready. Every single morning. Which means this Monday, this ordinary unremarkable Monday, comes fully loaded with the fresh mercy of a God who does not grow tired of showing up for you.
You do not need to earn a fresh start this week. God already gave you one. All that is left is to receive it and walk into the week with it.
So take a breath. Set your intention. Ask God what He wants to do in and through you this week and then show up for it one day at a time. That is all this week requires of you. Just one faithful day at a time.
This week practice receiving. Receive the mercy. Receive the grace. Receive the opportunities God places in front of you without second guessing whether you deserve them. You were given this week. Receive it fully.
His mercies are new this morning. That means this Monday already has everything you need to begin well.
- What from last week am I still carrying that I need to release before this week begins?
- What is one thing I want to receive from God this week that I have been hesitant to ask for?
- What does showing up faithfully look like for me in this specific season of life?
Lord, thank You for new mercies this morning. Thank You that last week does not define this one. Help me to receive what You have for me this week with an open and willing heart. I step into this Monday trusting that You are already at work in everything ahead of me. Amen.
With love and grace,
Honeycomb & Heart
