Small Acts Big Love
Small Acts. Big Love.
You live it Saturday. You share it Sunday. Today is about turning your faith outward and letting someone feel the love of God through you.
The most powerful acts of service are rarely the ones that make the news. They are the ones that happen quietly, in the middle of an ordinary Saturday, when one person decides to notice someone else and do something about it. A meal dropped off. A message sent. A stranger helped without being asked. Small things. Holy things.
Service does not require a platform or a plan or a specific gift set. It requires availability. The simple willingness to ask God who needs to be seen today and then to keep your eyes open for the answer.
"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
Galatians 5:13 · NKJVScripture quoted from the New King James Version (NKJV).
Through love serve one another. Love is the motivation and the method. Not obligation. Not performance. Not to be seen or thanked or recognized. Just love. The kind that notices a need and quietly does something about it without needing anyone to applaud.
You do not need a lot of time or money or energy to serve someone well today. You just need a willing heart and open eyes.
Here are some simple ways to love someone today:
Do one act of service today that no one will know about. Just you and God. That is the purest kind.
Lord, open my eyes today to the person right in front of me who needs to be loved. Make me available. Make me humble. And let whatever I do today point quietly back to You. Amen.
With love and grace,
